It was a new year at the MKM Series and it came with a new format too! 32 players joined the first ever Limited main event. They built Sealed Decks, drafted, and fought some hard battles to determine the first champion of the weekend.

The tournament featured Bernd Schwabe's return to the playoffs after his Modern Top 8 at MKMS Frankfurt two years ago. The Top 8 also included Philipp Krieger who had won German Nationals in the same venue about half a year ago. In the end, however, it was newcomer Jan Postma who first sailed into the payoffs with Blue-Black Pirates and then defeated all comers there with his white-black Vampire draft deck!
