On demand SIDE EVENTS – Casual Play
On each day of competition, as soon as 4 players sign up, we will start casual tournaments in various formats. In all of these events, each player will get to play each other player participating in the tournament (round robin). Please find the entry fees and prize payouts below. Please note that all of these events are unsanctioned.

On demand SIDE EVENTS – Competitive Play
We also offer more competitive Trials for players who are looking to increase their chances at the upcoming main events of the MKM Series. As soon as 8 players sign up, we will run a trial. All of these events are single elimination and sanctioned.

Note about Byes:
- Byes add up! You can win up to a maximum of 2 byes per Main Event
- Byes can not be exchanged or transferred – not between events, formats or players
- Byes can only be won for the next available Main Event of that format. After the start of an event, we reset all the Byes for players of that format.
Some examples:
It’s Friday and you just won your third On Demand Standard Trial, this means you have now won 3 Byes, but you will only have 2 at the Main Event on Sunday (Byes are capped at a maximum of 2). Your 3rd bye is lost, it will not count for the following MKM Series Event and cannot be used for another format this weekend.
It’s Sunday and you just won an On Demand Standard Trial. Since the Main Event Standard has already started, this Bye will count for the following MKM Series Event. If you can’t make it to that event, your Bye can’t be transferred to another one.

Getting there:
By public transport
From the city center you should take the the RER Line A and get off at “Nanterre Préfecture”. This station is located in the western part of the city.
Right from there you have to go through the Parc André Malraux until you see a roundabout which is connected with Avenue de la Liberté. The venue is about 100m away from the roundabout.

There are two airports close to Paris. You can take Line B from the northern Paris-Charles De Gaulle to get to the city center. Orly Sud which is located in the south is connected with Line C.
Both lines will take you to Line RER A which finally brings you to the venue.

Prizes depending on attendance:
On the left, you can find the prize payout for all of our main events. Prizes now depend on the number of players. Simply click on a player range on the far left to see the respective prize payout for this number of players.
Please note that for the Modern and Legacy events the minimum prize payout is the one for 51–100 players. So even if less than 50 players show up, the winner will receive 700 €!

Each participant of the main event will receive a goodie bag. The Top 8 Players (except the winner, so places 2-8) of the Main Event will also get a Playmat. The winner will receive a limited special Playmat- all of these prizes will be handed out in addition to the coupons.
Premier Event Status:
We were able to secure premier event status for all non-German and non-eternal formats for the MKM Series 2018. This means, players will be awarded Planeswalker Points with a 4x multiplier for the Modern, Standard and Limited main events at the MKM Series in Rome, Prague, Paris & Spain.
Moreover, grand trials and in-store trials for these events can be sanctioned with a 2x multiplier. Competitive-format side events will award Planeswalker Points with a regular 1x multiplier. Legacy main events as well as eternal format side events will be casual tournaments with no point multiplier.
Featured Artists
Johann Bodin, in 2005 at the age of 28, decided to become a professional illustrator. Since then, he has worked on many science fiction and fantasy book covers for numerous French publishers. He began illustrating cards for Magic: The Gathering in 2009 and has since illustrated over 80 cards. His extensive repertoire of card art includes notable cards like Mantis Rider, Polukranos, World Eater, and Refurbish.
