MKMS Milan 2016 – Modern

What deck did you play and why?
Ad Nauseam, because Rodrigo Togores told me to play it.

What was the most interesting play you saw or made this weekend?
My deck isn't very interesting.

What is the best Modern deck in your opinion (that you did not play yourself)?
I unfortunately don't know much about Modern … Eldrazi maybe?

What's your nightmare matchup in the Top 8?
Anything with discard.

How did the recent Pro Tour affect your deck choice today?
Not at all.

MKMS Milan 2016 – Legacy

What deck did you play and why?
Chaos Elves, because it lacks order.

What was the most useful card out of your sideboard and why?
Abrupt Decay, but I hardly had to use any sideboard cards.

What was the most interesting play you saw or made this weekend?
I saw someone play Stoneforge Mystic in Legacy.

What's the best Legacy deck in your opinion (that you did not play yourself)?
Miracles!

What's your nightmare matchup in the Top 8?
Maybe Lands?

MKMS Frankfurt 2016 – Modern

What deck did you play and why?
Ad Nauseam, because Rodrigo Togores told me to play it. It's also the best Simian Spirit Guide deck.

Most useful sideboard card:
I hardly ever used my sideboard …. so Leyline of Sanctity?

What was the most interesting play you saw or made this weekend?
Saw a guy forget to sacrifice lands for his Scapeshift.

What is the best Modern deck in your opinion (that you did not play yourself)?
I'm totally clueless when it comes to Modern. But it probably has Simian Spirit Guide in it.

What's your nightmare matchup in the Top 8?
Is Felix Weishaupt in the house?

MKMS Frankfurt 2017 – Legacy

What deck did you play and why?
Elves! It's absolutely amazing because it's great versus midrange and after the Miracles ban now can commit the sideboard slots to combo.

What changes would you make to your deck and why?
Literally nothing. We'll have to see how the metagame develops, but for now it's great the way it is.

What is the best Legacy deck in your opinion (that you did not play yourself)?
Esper Deathblade with three Perish and a strong anti-combo sideboard.

MKMS Hamburg 2017 – Vintage

What deck did you play and why?
Shops, because it is ridiculous. Had some guys from the US ship me a list, then had a list, then had Tom alter it.

What changes would you make to your deck and why?
Maybe run more Steel Overseer.

What is the best Legacy deck in your opinion (that you did not play yourself)?
Paradoxical Storm, it's absurd.

MKMS Barcelona 2017 – Legacy

What deck did you play and why?
Elves—it's easily the best Deathrite Shaman deck and favored against all other DRS decks. A lot of players also are rather inexperienced in their Elves matchup.

What changes would you make to your deck and why?
None! I've been playing this list since forever and it performs so incredibly well. I'm only scared of Sneak & Show. Incidentally, that was also my only loss in the Swiss.

What is the best Legacy deck in your opinion (that you did not play yourself)?
Probably Popeye Stompy.

MKMS Rome 2018 – Legacy

What deck did you play and why?
Elves, because the only really bad matchup with it is Sneak & Show. It also put Fyndhorn Elves back on the map.

What changes would you make to your deck and why?
Homogenize my fetchlands to pull off my best BUG Delver impression on turn one.

What is the best Legacy deck in your opinion (that you did not play yourself)?
Grixis Delver, no doubt.
