Modern

Modern has grown to become one of the most popular Constructed formats, and its card pool is growing too. In Modern, cards printed in Standard legal sets from Eighth Edition and Mirrodin onward can be used for deck construction.

Modern is characterized by various high-powered strategies, which every so often lands cards a spot on the format's sprawling banned list. Yet it allows players to use many of their favorite tools from Standard seasons past, it features an unrivaled wealth of viable archetypes and the possibility to stick with and update one deck over long periods of time.
