On demand SIDE EVENTS – Casual Play
On each day of competition, as soon as 4 players sign up, we will start casual tournaments in various formats. In all of these events, each player will get to play each other player participating in the tournament (round robin). Please find the entry fees and prize payouts below. Please note that all of these events are unsanctioned.

On demand SIDE EVENTS – Competitive Play
We also offer more competitive Trials for players who are looking to increase their chances at the upcoming main events of the MKM Series. As soon as 8 players sign up, we will run a trial. All of these events are single elimination and sanctioned.

Note about Byes:
- Byes add up! You can win up to a maximum of 2 byes per Main Event
- Byes can not be exchanged or transferred – not between events, formats or players
- Byes can only be won for the next available Main Event of that format. After the start of an event, we reset all the Byes for players of that format.
Some examples: It’s Friday and you just won your third On Demand Standard Trial, this means you have now won 3 Byes, but you will only have 2 at the Main Event on Sunday (Byes are capped at a maximum of 2). Your 3rd bye is lost, it will not count for the following MKM Series Event and cannot be used for another format this weekend. It’s Sunday and you just won an On Demand Standard Trial. Since the Main Event Standard has already started, this Bye will count for the following MKM Series Event. If you can’t make it to that event, your Bye can’t be transferred to another one.
Venue Entry Fee
[1] A 20 € fee for entering the collectors' fair is charged on Saturday and Sunday upon entrance to the venue. This is per day and per person. If you enter at 15:00 o'clock or later on any of those days, you will not have to pay an entry fee (in other words: if you are only interested in enrolling in our side events, you will not be charged an entry fee). Friday is an exception to this rule. Friday is the set-up day for the collector's fair, so we will not charge anyone for entry. Please note that there will probably NOT be any artists in attendance on Friday. To avoid raising the costs of the events too much, we decided to offer the main events in Frankfurt at a discounted rate of 15 € (instead of the regular 40 €). Considering that more than 90% of our players enroll in the main events, this solution should help keeping costs in check; for most of you, the fees will be the same if not lower (if you take advantage of the free entry on Friday). We are aware that this might not be a perfect solution, but to the best of our knowledge, it is the best way to run an event of this size in Germany. We hope you will not mind too much and we will see you in Frankfurt!

Getting there:
By public transport
The closest train station near the venue is Maintal West. The event location is around 1 km away from it, so that translates to a healthy 15 minute walk. If you're traveling to the location from Frankfurt's main train station, you can simply take the Regional Bahn (direction Hanau Hbf) and exit after 4 stops in Maintal West.

By car
The Bürgerhaus Bischofsheim is one of the best locations for car drivers as there are multiple Autobahns (highways) that run close to it, among them the A3, the A66 and the A661. We recommend using Google Maps to plan your journey. Simply enter your starting address in the following field, hit the Submit button and you'll end up with a travel description by Google.

Frankfurt's airport is the largest in Germany, so it's rather easy to reach from pretty much anywhere in Europe. You do not want to fly to Frankfurt-Hahn as it's > 100 km away from Frankfurt and if you don't get a rental car, it can prove tricky to get from there to Frankfurt fast. If you land in Frankfurt, take the S8 to Frankfurt (Main) Hbf (main train station) and from there, take the Regional Bahn (direction Hanau Hbf) and exit after 4 stops in Maintal West. You can walk from there.

Please note that for the Modern and Legacy events the minimum prize payout is the one for 51–100 players. So even if less than 50 players show up, the winner will receive 700 €!
